My goal as a life and style consultant is to help you:
- Be all you can be, including looking your best on a daily basis
- Find a better balance of exercise and diet in your busy life
- Bring out the greatest you that’s hidden inside, waiting to be invited out.
Why life and style consulting?
I decided to become a life and style consultant after many years of successfully advising friends,
relatives and even strangers about becoming happier and healthier.
For instance, when I’m on line at the grocery store, strangers ask what’s in my shopping cart. They want
to know what I eat to keep in such great shape! I’m also frequently asked about how I put my outfits together,
where I buy my clothes, etc.
Sharing my knowledge and passion for vibrant health and personal style with others is deeply rewarding. But
don’t think for a second that it’s only about “fixing the surface.”
How you feel inside directly impacts how you look on the outside. It’s all connected.
I have great empathy for people who don’t treat themselves with love and care, because they don’t
believe they deserve it or don’t know how.
I see many women and men who get up in the morning, throw on anything that’s available, and go out for the day.
The only time they “dress” is maybe on a Saturday night, if they’re going out for dinner. Their children are
dressed to the nines, but they have forgotten about themselves! (Perhaps they feel if they take time out for
themselves, they aren’t being good parents.)
If this sounds like you, I can help. Let me be your guide. Together, we may break the “vicious cycle” that’s
holding you back—depressed or guilty feelings, a harried or panicky approach to life, giving time to unrewarding
relationships—and replace it with the happier, healthier, more fulfilled you that's inside.
The best time to start?
Right now.
About Susan Korwin
A graduate of Hunter College, my background is in Psychology. I have also worked for major department stores,
including Bloomingdales and Abraham & Strauss, as well as smaller boutiques in Manhattan.
On the fitness side, I keep fit by boxing and rowing for an hour a day, seven days a week. That’s because I truly believe that how you treat your body directly influences how rapidly—or how slowly—your body ages.
I am married to
Dr. Robert Korwin, an expert in gentle restorative and cosmetic dentistry and the co-developer of the
Calmistry program, which reduces dental visit anxiety. My three sons—Joshua, a
graphic designer; Zachary, a package design engineer
and Devin, a high school student—continue to make me proud every single day.
